She served aboard Hospital Ships ('Runic', 'Suevic', 'Demosthenes', 'Themistocles' and 'Marathon') and in England between transports. She was promoted to Matron on 1 March 1917. She returned to Australia on 12 July 1919 per 'City of Exeter' as Matron in charge. Her appointment terminated on 1 February 1919. She died aged 87 years. She was awarded the Royal Red Cross (2nd Class) in 1917. |
